Ifa Divination/ A Consultation with your Destiny

When we are coming to the world from heaven we go to the house of Ajala (The keeper of the House of Heads) to select a destiny. During the shock of birth we become unconscious of that destiny. Before Orunmila left the world for heaven, however, he left us Ifa divination so that we could consult our destinies while on earth. Periodically, we check in to make sure we are we are doing what we chose to do.

Divination is important to all African cultures. When consulting the various divinities, devotees and clients can determine the energies and spirits controlling particular situations, as well as what actions would be most in line with their destiny. In indigenious culture, Africans begin all major milestones of their lives with divination. Childbirth, new careers, marriage, business ventures, etc.

During Divination a trained priest is able to communicate with the Ancestors and Orisa to get clear answers to your questions. The diviners of Ile Ifa Jalumi are available for reliable and confidential divination readings. Usually offering and prayers are given after the divination to help us stay on our path or get back to it if we have strayed. Additional materials and contributions may be required for these services.

It is highly recommended that one be present to sit on the mat with the diviner during the divination. Baring that possibility a person may send their contribution and a hand written letter, including their name, date of birth, questions, phone number, mailing address or email address to Ile Ifa Jalumi.
