(Ancestor Shrine)
ITEMS NEEDED
 The following items are needed to set up your iku altar.

-White cloth. (aso funfun)
-White chalk, (efun).
-Wooden box painted black containing dirt form the graves of your ancestors,
or 9 glasses of water, or a clay pot of river rocks that have been buried in the
graveyard for nine days.  (If you only have nine glasses of water, you
should work to get the dirt or stones so that they can be properly consecrated.)
-Wooden stick which is your height when you are kneeling.  (Tie many strips
of different colored cloth around the top.
-A list of all your known ancestors on your father's and mother's side from
the oldest to the most recent. 
OTHER ALTAR ITEMS

The following are items you need to have on your altar:

Glass for water.
Dishes for food.
Candle holder.
Ashtray.
Flower vase.
Picture of deceased members of the family.
Picture or sculpture of a serpent with its tail in its mouth.

OFFERING SUPPLIES

 The following are items to keep on your altar for
 daily offerings you may need to  make to your ancestors:

Tobacco: chewing, snuff, cigars, cigarettes. (Taba)
Liquor: whiskey. (Oti)
Flower. (ododo)
White candles. (abela funfun)
Matches. (isona)
Red palm oil (epo pupo)
Honey. (oyin)
Fruit. (isu)
Cake, sweets. (akara dun)
Candy. (aladun)
Food. (onje)
Coconut. (agbon)
Incents. (efin)
Also, any foods or colognes, etc. they might have personally liked.
